High Places Community Church is a place where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them to serve God and neighbor. Join us for our Sunday services!

What To Expect
We are a comfortable / casual church, so feel to dress up, dress down, or dress normal. Just please come dressed!! :)
We believe that "man looks at the outward appearance, but God sees the heart," so there is no pressure to try and shine. God isn't looking at the parts that humans see anyway, at least as near as we can tell from Scripture.
Services last aobut 60 minutes, sometimes a wee bit longer as needed.
We use a blend of secular, contemporary, and traditional music in our service.
We don't download cookie-cutter power points or slides for our presentations. Occasionally, you might even find a word mispelled, or the lyrics of a song placed against the backdrop of church member's art or childrens' contributions.
We're a tight family of people who really love Jesus. Sometimes we're even a little shy or introverted around guests. We're working on that!
We're genuine Jesus people, messy but forgiven. Imperfect, but smothered in God's Amazing Grace. We recently lost our infamous front-row sermon heckler, our beloved Julie Crist, to cancer. But that freedom to just show up and be you will never be lost on us. We're all on a journey of growth toward Jesus. Including, if not perhaps especially, our pastors and elders.
We don't sweat the small stuff and absolutely revel in deeper conversations about God and His Kingdom work in our lives and in the life of this community.
